Daihatsu’s First Mass-Produced BEV, Protecting Daily Lives with the e-Hijet!

 On February 2, 2026, Daihatsu held a press conference in Tokyo for its first mass-produced BEVs (battery electric vehicles), the “e-Hijet Cargo” and the “e-Atrai.” Then, on February 16 at a kickoff event held at the Daihatsu Kyushu Oita (Nakatsu) Plant, the baton was passed from the production site to the sales frontlines, and everyone pledged to work together to deliver these vehicles to customers.
